Custom work starts from function, material, dimensions, process and acceptance, using samples or small batches to reduce production risk.

Drawings, samples and use descriptions provide different precision; critical dimensions, condition and non-negotiable requirements should be highlighted.

Drawings should include units, tolerances, datums, finish, heat treatment and packaging; shaped wire or profiles need full sections.

Sample approval should record material, dimensions, appearance, processing result and revision rather than verbal acceptance alone.

Shaped wire, precision strip, capillary tube, cut bars and connectors commonly benefit from sampling.

Provide drawing or sample, target grade, quantity tiers, downstream process, inspection and schedule.
