Consumable selection starts with base metal, process, weld chemistry, mechanical properties and corrosion service.

Gas-shielded, submerged-arc, flux-cored wire and electrodes suit different equipment and conditions and should not be substituted by approximate grade alone.

Confirm wire or electrode diameter, spool or straight form, package weight, shielding gas or flux system.

Agree chemistry, feeding, cleanliness, weld properties and moisture control, with final parameters validated by procedure qualification.

Common uses include stainless structures, equipment, piping, vessels and corrosion-resistant fabrication or repair.
